The hotel heiress has made her career on having an image of portraying the typical dumb blond to the media and public, but now she is singing a different tune.
Recently, Paris told and explained to Britain’s GMTV that she is not literally as dumb as everyone thinks, “I just do little jokes all the time but people think I’m serious, which I think is funny. And I think I kind of play up the image sometimes because, whatever, it’s just entertainment.”
Early on in her career, as far back as The Simple Life, people began labeling the heiress as stupid. Paris said on her simple life experience, “For five seasons I was stuck doing this character. It was kind of hard always having to play that character when it’s not who I am.”
It is official, tv starlet Amanda Bynes has split from her boyfriend, baseball player Doug Reinhardt. You may recall Reinhardt, from the tv reality show, The Hills.
Sources say, “She ended it. She had had enough. Her friends didn’t trust him. Everyone thought he was using her for celebrity. He was not good, and she was over it. It was definitely her who ended it.”
The two began dating late of last year. In fact it was not too long ago that Doug had this to say about his lovely girlfriend at the time, “Amanda’s great – she’s an awesome girl. We’re having a lot of fun.”
“Everything is really good,” he went on. “We were just in the Bahamas, and we spent Christmas together, everything’s really solid.”
Taken away with her new home, Audrina Patridge is loving her new three bedroom, 2,100 sq ft Spanish-style home in Hollywood Hills. Her new house also features a wine refrigerator, outdoor barbeque,fountains, and complete views of the city. She paid 1.2 million for it.
“It’s amazing. I love it. So beautiful! I love the house. I saw it, and I fell in love with it,” Audrina shared.
Many Hills fans are left wondering what does this all mean to her friendships with Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth?
Audrina simply replied, “Nothing has changed.” Lauren Conrad sources also say the same thing, “It was time for Audrina to take the next big step.” Conrad sources are state Patridges leaving was all under friendly terms.
The new spin off Beverly Hills 90210 for this generation of teens, has been let off the air waves in Austrailia because of thevery poor ratings the show was delivering weekly.
“90210 is an excellent show that clearly resonated with a younger audience, but it didn’t have the kind of numbers needed to stay in this intensely competitive environment,” said a spokesperson for the Channel 10 news Austraila channel.
The teen drama of the juicy fast life in Beverly Hills was dropped from Channel 10 after just four episodes because there wasn’t enough interest in the show. The debut program pulled in 837,000 viewers last month, while the last episode shown on Monday achieved viewing figures of just 616,000.
Channel 10 plans to broadcast the remaining episodes during the non-ratings period over summer 09.
